There is Beauty

                            THERE IS BEAUTY

There is beauty in the desert; there is beauty in the sand.
There is beauty in the growing things abounding in the land.
There is beauty in the sunrise and in the sunset's glow;
There is beauty in the starry sky and in the earth below.

There is beauty in the sunshine, in shade with cooling breeze.
There is beauty in the flowing stream that cascades down with ease.
There is beauty in the ocean waves with white tops breaking near.
There is beauty in the mirrored surf, with stillness you can hear.

There is beauty in the mountains, in the forest, in the glen.
There is beauty in unfolding leaf as springtime comes again.
There is beauty in the harvest that gives strength to all of life.
There is beauty in a loving home that binds a man and wife.

There is beauty in a new-born babe and what he's meant to be.
There is beauty in a growing child, who, through his heart may see
The beauty of the Spirit's voice, to reverence and to share,
To know the beauty that's divine, and see it everywhere.

There is beauty in the wrinkled brow, in hair that's thin and white;
There is beauty in experience that gives to faith its might.
There is beauty in unselfishness that fills compassion's way.
There is beauty in the seet receiving that makes bright the day.

There is beauty in the storms of life from which our hearts may learn.
There is beauty gained in sadness that oft fills life's precious urn.
There is beauty that is seen in death that ceases torment's pain;
There is beauty knowing God provides the plan to meet again.

There is beauty that is life itself, that molds what is to be--
A beauty that surpasses all that's made for you and me.
That beauty, oh so precious, that our Savior thus empowers;
The beauty of Eternal Life, from choice; that choice is ours.
