HOW JOYOUS IS THE LOVE OF GOD
How joyous is the love of God
That bears his peace unto our hearts,
Where eager children lift their eyes
And hear Him speak as he imparts.
Yet some refrain and hear Him not,
Nor are their hearts attuned for more,
Because traditions tantalize
And hold them to what was before.
Oh happy is the ear that hears,
Receiving words He speaks today,
Confirmed in spirit and in truth.
He speaks! Hear what He has to say.
